Distant intimacy

Hand bind book, Interviews with 12 persons, Ink jet prints
2011
As a traveller, I collect and make a travelling guide with relatively more personal and intimate experiences from different people.
This travelling guide is a collection of personal memories from everyone I interviewed. The conversation between me and each of them was usually held in a relaxing, comfortable and causal circumstances like having dinner, drinking coffee or just simply chatting in a private place.
To hear, share, penetrate and substitute myself into their experiences were very interesting to me, as if I were able to grasp a part of their memories.
There is certain kind of distant intimacy, reachable yet unreachable.
