Constantia

Constantia (2015) is a work about compromise and fantasies as part of the after/image book project exhibition. The title Constantia (1797) is a poem by an American poet Philip Freneau who is well known of his nature romanticism. The sea and land, as a compromise, are neither nurturing nor destroying each other. Constantia to me is a collection of memories, fantasies of leisure time along the shore, compromises and struggles of the everyday.
